I will let this on the group

BUT

I want members to pay attention that this is asking ONLY about the Khon Kaen Immigration office policy,

I don't wanna hear people weighing in with in "Nakhon Nowhere" where I live it's this, or that.

You don't get your extension from Khon Kaen, don't bother answering 🙂

Now as far as can you use multiple deposits as long as the total equals 65K baht during a calendar month, that shouldn't be an issue

This is a general list of requirements for a retirement extension, but it is not office specific so Khon Kaen may or may not follow these

Post on a Khon Kaen F/B group and ask your questions there.

Just want to really check because the post is a little confusing.

You entered free stamps 60 days, you did not extend it, then you got a new passport, and now you want to go get the one 30 day extension you're allowed correct?

@Graham *****
As I read it they didn't have a problem they wanted to know if entering on a 60 day free stamp on one passport then getting a new passport inside the country would affect them getting the one 30 day extension the can get per free stamp entry

@Andy ****
best of luck with it sir, safe travels (y) Don't forget to fill out the online TDAC (Thailand Digital Arrival Card), you can do it from 3 days before your flight right on down to when you're standing in the arrival hall (they have kiosks there)

here's the link

right my mistake I didn't see that comment of yours

You're correct the issuing embassy can cancel it.

You have to have it done thru them and they would cancel it in the system

However it is so rare to have an embassy cancel a valid multi-entry visa that there are no reports of anyone doing it after they used the visa to enter thailand and started staying on the visa here 😕

@Alan ********
nope I don't do cut-n-paste answers 😮

I scratch write it all 🙂

@Tejas *********
you aren't gonna "cancel it after using it for 3 months" 🙁

You can't cancel that visa at all, it'll come up in the system as an active multi-entry visa and you won't be able to get a new visa until that one expires

Nope, UK passport holders don't get any 60 day arrival visa. 😮 😕

However with that being said; Brits can show up here without any visa and get stamped in for 60 days on free stamp on what's called a visa exempt entry. (y) 🙂

It's not a visa on arrival, it's not a visa at all, but it is a free 60 day entry stamp 🙂

AND

you can indeed extend one time for 30 days for 1900baht at the immigration office serving where you stay.

Take both passports to the immigration office they will move your stamps and put the new extension into the new passport

there is no problem at all getting a 30-day extension on your 60 day free entry stamp

More and more people are getting rejected after returning to the country with the reason; "first report needs to be done in person".

You are allowed to apply in person from two weeks before the due date until one week after the due date without a penalty.

So if you have an appointment on the 7th day after the due date you would be able to file the 90-day report that day and not be fined.

Whether you should slog over there before your appt and wait it out in the queue with the zombie horde is something only you can decide.
