# ATTENTION POSTERS..

If you post a question and are asked by the moderating team or anyone else who tries to answer you; what your nationality is and/or what your previous entry history is to thailand, ANSWER the questions. :O

I don't mean you have to list the exact entry history but something like; this year, two 30 day v/e entries by land, one tourist visa from Vientiane & one 30 day extension.

It is critical to know how long you've been milking the visa exempt/tourist visa/ 30 day extension game staying in thailand to give you accurate advice on how you can further your stay here OR where you should go to try to get a new visa.

IF you want accurate answers to your questions, you need to provide answers to our questions FIRST :P ;) :O

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post emphasizes the necessity of sharing your nationality and previous entry history when asking for visa advice in Thailand. Providing this information helps the community offer accurate guidance based on your specific circumstances, such as eligibility for visa runs or available options for new visas.

Just got a PM from someone asking WHY those are important things.

"previous entry history" is important because it lets people know if you can be told flying in and out is okay, or if you can bounce out and back by land for a visa exempt entry OR if you can get a visa from a nearby consulate

"nationality" is important because some nationalities can't bounce out and back in at some land borders (to activate another entry on a valid visa OR to get a visa exempt entry stamp), some can't use this or that thai consulate and some have to go back to their country to get a visa.
