@[Padma's Page]([members only]) Tod, I have a question. Iโ€™m still here on a tourist visa I obtained from the Thai embassy prior to entering the kingdom and am not due to extend for the first time til May 20. I have already obtained a letter of support from my embassy in case I needed further extensions. Without the embassy extension Iโ€™m good til June 19. How does the amnesty effect my visa should the amnesty be extended beyond April 30th?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is currently on a tourist visa and inquired about how an extension of the visa amnesty might impact their status, given that their visa is set to expire on May 20 and they have a supportive letter from their embassy valid until June 19. Responses clarified that the amnesty period does not affect the user's current visa expiration as it is set for May 20.

By June 19th things will have changed so there's no answer to your question. The automatic extension and embassy letter are meaningless for you.

The answer is; this free extension amnesty until the 30 of April doesn't affect you in the least because your current stamp expires on May 20.
