What are the immigration office holiday closures in Thailand for August 2024?
ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS:
Immigration Office Holiday Closure Aug 2024
Monday Aug 12th
That is the only holiday in August for thai immigration offices (which are all inside thailand btw ;) )
Check the thai consulate you're going to use and see what their holiday schedule is BEFORE you slog over to one :)
Remember if your stamp expires on a day the immigration office is close (weekends or holidays) and you go the very next day they are open you can get your extension like normal and NOT be fined for overstay.
Also note; borders don't close for holidays :)

Answer summary
The Thai immigration offices will be closed for holiday on Monday, August 12th, 2024. It is important for expatriates to check their specific consulate's holiday schedule prior to visiting. If a visa stamp expires on a day the immigration office is closed, individuals can still receive an extension without incurring fines if they attend the day after the holiday.
