I want to share my experience about re-entering Thailand with a DTV visa.
I am Taiwanese and hold a Taiwanese passport. Recently, I’ve seen some posts expressing concerns about re-entering Thailand. I have entered Thailand 4 times with DTV through BKK without any issues.
My DTV route is Soft Power(Muay Thai).
I just want to say that if you applied by yourself or through an agency with correct and truthful information, you should have no problems re-entering Thailand every time.
Why have I re-entered so many times? Because I love traveling. But Thailand is my favorite country.🇹🇭

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Taiwanese expat shares their experience of re-entering Thailand multiple times on a DTV visa for Muay Thai. They discuss concerns within the community about immigration scrutiny and provide reassurance that as long as proper documentation and genuine intentions are maintained, travelers shouldn't face issues upon re-entry. Other users contribute their experiences, noting that those with frequent travels often are not questioned, though there is an ongoing concern about increased scrutiny at immigration.
Hey everyone☺️ I’m a freelance Thai visa agent specializing in helping people obtain the DTV visa successfully. My team and I have already assisted many clients, making the process smooth much as much we could.
If you need help or have any questions about my service feel free to reach out , pls. DM 😊
It’s just facts sorry stupid. Sometimes I wonder how you made it to Thailand without being lost halfway 😅. And don’t forget to take your pills 💊. It’s time !! 🤣
I think immigration would question the people staying in Thailand the maximum amount of time the visa allows, rather than people coming and going all the time.
I dont understand why or how they could even ask you to show 500K after 180 days. As far as I know there is no rule that requires you to keep the 500K locked in your account for 180 days or even longer. If there is, please enlighten me.
It makes no sense... 😂 as this is officially called a digital nomad visa. Would them ask, if you're a digital nomad, why are you traveling? I applied for my DTV with a document issued by my employer in which they assure that -on their side- I'm allowed to work remotely from any country in the world.
I have entered four times so far, without any issues. Last time I arrived from India. While they asked every single male traveler for proof of accommodation and a return ticket (they even asked one for proof of funds), I was through the immigration counter in 1 minute, all the officer said, was Finiddd" :-)
There are no problems for people with genuine intentions. If you're attending your classes, you'll still be able to prove your goodwill if you're checked. The issue is for those who can't pretend to meet these conditions.
It’s sketchy people with suspicious backgrounds or have a history of negative things immigration related. For people who done it properly like you stated, there’s no issue
My history is not clean (long overstay years ago), but I didn't have any issues with the DTV (I had many with tourist visas). I think it mostly depends on the immigration officer (mood)
yeah that can happen too. That doesn’t take away from what I said. The point was it is more likely that you may have issues if you have history or background with something negative it doesn’t mean you hundred percent will have an issue, but immigration would be more likely to check those people more. So I’m sure there’s many people who still get by fine through immigration such as yourself.
Anonymous participant 329 Yeah, that certainly could be an issue and raise a red flag. I have pointed this out in previous comments here, but some people will deny that such past history could casue an issue. However, i disagree with them.
I've entered 5-6 times already, since October (when I got it). The last time was a couple of weeks ago. I've never ever been asked a thing, just greeted and stamped.
