**ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS:

ESPECIALLY people entering visa exempt/visa waiver <-(on the free entry stamp that is 45 days now ;) ) **

At this time <- meaning as of right now, there has been NO official announcement about the continuing of the 45 day visa exempt/visa waiver entry program.

This means March 31st is the last day the 45 day entry program is in effect and come April 1st it will go back to 30 day visa exempt/visa waiver entry.

The TAT <- Tourism Authority of Thailand PROPOSED to the government that the program continue until the end of the year. That proposal has NOT been approved yet.

and what this isn't gonna turn into is a debate about ANY of the things mentioned in the comments.

Posts will NOT get on asking if the program is continued, sneak comments asking about it in unrelated threads will be deleted.

They were announcing continuations of the Covid extensions program 2-3 days before the deadline. So let's wait for an announcement on March 28-29 :)

Covid extensions were completely different. Without them there would have been a mass exodus out of the country which airlines couldn't have handled. Reverting to 30 days on a visa exempt would make no difference within the country.
