TLDR : Answer Summary
To determine whether your retirement visa is an 'O' Visa or an 'OA' Visa, you can check the first page of your passport where your visa stamps are. It will specify the type of visa. Alternatively, if you obtained your first retirement visa in your home country by providing a police background check, a medical certificate, and proof of funds for a fee of about 200 USD, it is likely an 'OA' Visa.
