Remember people all immigration offices in the country close at 4:30PM today (Friday the 11th) and will not re-open until 8:30AM Thursday the 17th
If you have a stamp that expires on a day the immigration office is closed (weekends or holidays) and you go the very next day the immigration office is open you can get your extension like normal (you will get an overstay stamp in your passport but will not be fined)
I would hazard a guess and say that ALL offices in the country will be mobbed with people next Thursday when they re-open and if you don't have to go, DON'T..
Borders are open like usual, they don't close for holidays
Have a Safe & Happy Songkran everyone !!

TLDR : Answer Summary
All immigration offices across Thailand will close at 4:30 PM on Friday, April 11th and will reopen at 8:30 AM on Thursday, April 17th due to the Songkran holiday. If your visa stamp expires during this closure, you can still get an extension without being fined for overstaying if you go to the office the following day after they reopen. It is advised to avoid visiting on reopening day due to expected crowds. Airport re-entry permit counters remain open.
