My Non O based on marriage also runs out 14 April, went to Mukdahan immigration on Tuesday and was give a under consideration stamp and extension until May 14. I applied for a long stay of 12 months. Yesterday 4 immigration officials rocked up to our house, took more photos, had my wife leave the hospital she was working at as she is a nurse and bring a guarantee person to confirm who I am and married. Still unsure if about my extension, I guess watch this space. Fingers crossed for good news, the officials were polite and friendly and have always found Mukdahan immigration good to deal with.

I have a Type O ( legal Thai wife and child) that requires me to bounce every 90 days (expires October 2). I have a 60 day (May 26) extension then I believe I can add another 30 day. If a border open in the next 3 months, I believe I can bounce for another 3 month. I hope to emigrate elsewhere late Fall. Who knows?

Non Imm goes through the same protocols, at least with Chiang Mai immigration it is. That includes all the paper work and they will not listen to Ground circumstances as delayed explanations!

Do NOT wait thinking you get a free extension until the 30th (sheesh that's only 2 weeks more seeing as your stamp expires on the 15th) :(
Either meet the financial requirements to get a year extension based on marriage to a thai (400K baht in a thai bank account in your name only for 2 months before you apply, and the required documents)
OR
Apply for the 60 day visit thai family extension based on marriage to a thai (there are no financial requirements) and then get your financial requirements sorted out in that two months time, so you can get a year extension after that

Are you on a year-long, multi-entry Non-O visa based on marriage to a thai where you normally bounce out and back in every 90 days to get a new 90 day stamp
OR
Are you on a year long extension of stay from the immigration office?
