I have been here 5 years on initial Non-OA visa and 1 year extensions, using monthly income transfers. I want to change to Non-O because of the stupid health insurance requirements. Can I keep using the monthly transfers to satisfy the income requirements or does it have to be the lump sum?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is looking to switch from a Non-OA visa to a Non-O visa, particularly to avoid health insurance requirements. They inquire whether they can continue to use monthly income transfers to meet the income criteria for the Non-O visa. Responses suggest it may be possible to exit Thailand and re-enter to apply for the Non-O visa, but they recommend confirming this option with immigration authorities to ensure the monthly income transfers will be accepted.
