Are you able to apply in a different province to where you live?
Because we finally got all of my husband's documents together for his Non O as specified in this [[members only]) , as well as all the other documents our local (Nakhon Si Thammarat) immigration officer wanted, yet today he said the rules have changed and my husband can not apply for a Non O in Thailand.
Said he has to leave the country and apply at foreign Thai consulate. Is this true?
This officer has been changing the list of documents he wants for months.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses an individual's inquiry about the possibility of applying for a Non-O visa in a different province in Thailand, as their local immigration officer in Nakhon Si Thammarat stated that the rules have changed, requiring their husband to leave the country to apply at a Thai consulate instead. Respondents clarify that the local immigration office historically does not issue Non-O visas in-country, and there have been no significant rule changes regarding this process.
