I'm travelling from the the UK early next year and intend to stay for 86 days, using my 60 day visa exemption and then extending for a further 30 days. I know I'll need an onward ticket within the 60 days in case the airline asks for it but what documents will I need to take to the immigration office when I extend?

I read somewhere that your 65,000 Baht monthly income has to come from a ‘Govt Pension’ source?…Is it okay if it comes from a SIPP (a private pension pot)?…

I am looking for some information because I am unsure of what the process.

I will be returning to Thailand at the end of this month I am an Australian citizen so I guess I will get the 30 day entry visa however I would like to apply for the retirement visa.

I am not sure but I think I would have to apply for the three month extension and at the same time apply for the retirement visa.

Is this the correct and easy way of doing it I had been living in Thailand previously for six years but that visa as well and truly expired however I still have the required money in the bank.

I would appreciate any help or further information of what the correct procedure is.

Thank you in advance

I'm on a non O visa based on marriage to a Thai national. At some point towards the end of this year I have to leave Thailand to go back to my home country to sell my house. I was thinking to get my 90 day renewal and then leave Thailand. My "marriage " visa was just renewed. I'll need to get a multi entry visa but how long does that give me to be out of Thailand so that I can simply come back here after I've sold my house and carry on as normal. Cheers.

Hello

I would like to know the option from the group ?

First, I would like to know how can I get the visa extension From cambodia ?

How long is the process take and what is the cost to run the extension in Cambodia ?

Btw

I’m waiting the Visa Approval of DTV Visa of Thailand in Cambodia.

There is no update, So is that the best option to stay in the Cambodia for waiting the DTV Visa or move to another ?

Is that Okay or safe to move another country when applying the DTV Visa.

I would like to know the suggestion or recommendation from here.

Hi everyone, I’m completely lost and need some advice 😞

I applied for the DTV visa at the Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh on 13 May 2025. After submitting the additional documents, the status changed to Pending Approval on 15 May, but until now (7 June) there’s been no update.

My Cambodia TR visa expires on 11 June, and I’m really worried they won’t approve the DTV in time. Tomorrow is Sunday, and I can only hope for something on 9 or 10 June, but honestly I don’t think it will be processed that fast.

So I have a few questions:

1. Should I fly to another country and wait there for the result?

2. Can I do a border bounce and come back to Cambodia? If yes, which border do you recommend?

3. Is there any way to extend my Cambodia TR visa without leaving? If yes, please tell me how to do?

I’ve been crawling in my hotel room for nearly 30 days and the expenses are killing me 🤧.

Any advice or similar experience would really help 🙏 Thank you so much!

A question out of curiosity.

For the extension of stay based on retirement, using the monthly transfer method... Do the Immigration Offices care about international outgoing transactions?

The Norwegian Embassy is stopping with the affadavits confirming income from next year, and people who have been getting Non-O and extending their stays with the Affidavit as proof of income are now looking for alternatives. In particular this is about those who don't stay the entire year, but a lot of it. While there are other options, getting the extensions of stay based on their original Non-O would of course be preferable.

So I am wondering if people would be able to send the required 65k a month minimum TO Thailand, but send this amount BACK to a Norwegian account on the months where they are not staying in Thailand.

Or if this would raise some eyerbows at Immigration?

There's be 12 months of 65k going in, but some of those months would see the same amount transferred right back out.

Again, just a question out of curiosity, as trying to help find the best alternatives for the people affected by the Embassies decision.

Thank you

I recently relocated from Krabi -> CM. I went to CM immigration today to extend my tourist visa. But they would not extend it because my 'expired' ED visa issued in Krabi was not 'canceled'. This is the first time I've experienced this. In the past, I can't recall having to cancel long term visas. I thought they just expired and I leave the country. Lesson learned I guess.

I would like to know what is most advisable:

a) attempt to leave the country tonight / tomorrow morning and return.

b) fly to Krabi on Monday morning and overstay 3 days

Thank you.

First time seeing, request Cambodia visa extension. Instead of border bounce to Vietnam better to do extension when Cambodia visa is running out. Evisa website clearly states that must be in person which country u apply. Now DTV process in Cambodia so slow.
