TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about applying for a 60-day extension on their non-immigrant business visa. According to the comments, if the visa is valid until January 2021 and the individual is married to a Thai citizen or has half-Thai children, they may be eligible for the 60-day family extension despite being on amnesty.

IF you have a year-long, multi-entry Non-B visa valid until Jan 2021 <- the kind where you are supposed to bounce out and back on every 90 days to get a new 90 day stamp but are now on amnesty you COULD apply for the 60 day visit thai family extension if you were married to a thai or have half thai children.

Okay! I am not married to a Thai nor do I have children. So I guess there is no getting around the border bounce for the Non-B multiple entry visa that I have? I was hoping there would be a smart entrepreneur who arranged a quick, safe Thai govt.-approved border crossing flight turn around ✈️😊 ... or some exception since I do have a valid visa. Visiting the Immigration office in Samui I suppose won’t help? Nor getting a letter from my Embassy (U.S.A.) or local Thai sponsor or a hospital if I had a planned non-Covid treatment/surgery? (p.s. BIG gratitude for the ongoing support/info flowing from the admins of this page. ⭐️)

at this time, because of the visa you're on and that your 90 day entry stamp expired it put you on amnesty and all you can do is wait it out and see what the government comes up with in regards to what happens when amnesty ends.

US embassy will not issue the "unable to travel due to covid-19" letters for emergency extensions anymore, they discontinued it :(

Thanks. I suppose I must prepare for every possible scenario. Grateful regardless for all that Thailand has granted and allowed.
