Renat Valiev posted in an old thread (that I have deleted)

I have the initial Non-B Visa and Work permit. I do not have a visa extension.

If my employer close my work permit, do I have to close my visa?

If I do not leave the country immediately after cancelling my WP, will I get an overstay?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired if cancelling their work permit requires them to cancel their Non-B visa and if they would face an overstay if they remain in Thailand after the work permit is cancelled. A commenter clarified that with an initial Non-B visa, the holder can stay for the duration of the 90-day stamp regardless of the work permit status. They emphasized that the visa cannot be cancelled just because the work permit is cancelled, as long as the holder departs by the end of the 90 days unless an extension is granted by the employer.

Please do not resurrect old threads like that. ๐Ÿ˜•

This is how it works,

IF you are on the 90 day stamp of an initial Non-B visa you can stay the 90 days

Whether you work or not, doesn't matter, you get those 90 days, no one can cancel it, no one can stop it. Even if the work permit is cancelled you still can stay the 90 days

You have to be out on/by that day if you're not getting an extension from the employer who you got the Non-B thru

I messaged you the answer when I deleted your comment on that old thread
