TLDR : Answer Summary
The new TM47 online reporting system for 90-day check-ins in Thailand is experiencing significant technical difficulties, leading to frustration among users. Many expats report failures when attempting to register, with a recurring "Failed to Save Data" error during the confirmation process. Despite these issues, some users have successfully registered and received login details, while others are unsure if the system is mandatory. The online system is an option, and users can report from two weeks prior to the due date. Overall, these challenges highlight ongoing concerns about the reliability of digital services provided by Thai immigration.

@Ismi *****
, which are you trying? TM47(90days report) or appointment system?
Benjamin ******
@Ismi *****
IF you read the instructions, Bangkok Immigration is not one of the choices.

I tried just now. My 90 days expire December 17th. So it should be right time to do it today? Don't work for me :-( The other app and online system hasn't worked for me for more than a year. Every time I go there to do it the officer tell me: "will work next time" But no :-(
Thore ***********
I forgot to say that getting my password went well. Few hours and they send it to me.
Thore ***********
@Martin *******
Yes. I am not surprised at all 😃 But i will try again tomorrow
Daniel *****
@Martin *******

Well, so much for that boyz and squirrellz 😮 It appears that people are now not being able to register on the new TM47 online program and are getting the "Failure to Save Data" error when they click confirm they want to register.

Dunno what to tell you other than try it tomorrow. Also FOLLOW that thread on Asean Now because I'm sure you guys are not the only people getting that error
Martin ********
@Tod ********
Not a surprise really is it
Daniel *****
Another wonderful useless tool … 10 attempts and always the same “failed to serve data” error message …
Daniel *****
@Tod ********
i just wanted to register and submit the actual reporting end of the month. Should I wait ?
Ellie *******
@Daniel ****
, depends on which step you got error message, but as
@T**
wrote above,

-----

you can file an online 90 day report from 2 weeks before down until the due date. (The thai website says 15 days but it's really 2 weeks exactly)
Tod *********
ORIGINAL POSTER
@Daniel ****
and you are applying within the window 14 days before down until the due date?
Daniel *****
@Tod ********
yes ! How would they know if I am in the time frame or not at this stage ?
Tod *********
ORIGINAL POSTER
@Daniel ****
at this stage they wouldn't and all you're doing is registering so you CAN use the system when you are in the time frame.

It's a glitch in the system, either too many people are accessing it or something else happened. I was able to get thru, apply to register and get my emailed password. Try tomorrow and see what it says that's about all you can do
Daniel *****
@Tod ********
thanks !
Geoff **********
Tried to register but after entering data and submitting get "Failed to save data" error. Tried on desktop (Chrome and Edge) and phone (Android with Chrome) so far. Any suggestions or I will try again tomorriw.
Mike ******
I tried several times and got the same error message as well. I put in the correct CAPTChA as well.
Geoff **********
@Mike *****
Maybe the system just broke after the first hour like many of the other Thai web appps. Guess will just tru tomorrow.
Tod *********
ORIGINAL POSTER
@Mike *****
yep I got it to show that failure to save data error prompt too 🙁
Tod *********
ORIGINAL POSTER
once you fill out that information on the above screen you wait and in about 2 hours they email you a password to log in with

Did you already get the log in from them and you're trying to report or what?
Geoff **********
@Tod ********
Yes i entered the Captcha, subnitted,confirmed then the prigram worked a bit and came backe with this error code (captcha was erased when the screen with the error came up.

@Geoff *********
well so much for the new system. I don't know why it's doing that I got right thru this afternoon. put in the CAPTCHA, clicked apply and got a "check you email"

Yep I see exactly what it's doing now, I tried to register with a different email mobile number and got the confirm button but then clicked it and got the failure to save data error 🙁
Geoff **********
@Tod ********
I am trying to register from the link "
**************************************************
" (I cant get ti the TM47 reporting page). When I fill out the info and press "apply" it the asks do you want to register - after clicking "confirm" I get the error message as in the screenshot below.

and you were clicking on the TM47 90 day online reporting link?
Tod *********

Remember people the same rules apply for this new 90 day portal as it did for the old one.

You have to have filed ONE 90 day report at the immigration office to begin to use the system, you can file an online 90 day report from 2 weeks before down until the due date. (The thai website says 15 days but it's really 2 weeks exactly)
Tod *********
ORIGINAL POSTER
Okay I got my log in and this is what you get when you sign in

I checked to see if any of my other 90 day online reports were available but they were not
Benjamin ******
1. Read the article people. A lot of questions can be answered in the article.

2. Please don't guess if the system will or won't work.

Thank you.
Karl ********
Is the system optional, or do we all now have to report via the online system only? I'm sorry I just don't trust it, and Korat is always quiet enough to go and report without any hassle. In and out in 5 minutes.
Tod *********
ORIGINAL POSTER
@Karl *******
it's totally an option to use it or not
Karl ********
@Tod ********
that's good to hear, thanks.
Martin ********
@Sam ****
not wrong on that 🙄😂
Martin ********
Is it a Online 90 day reporting system or is it a Online 90 day appointment system to go along to your local office. Or is it both? I’m a little confused 🤔
Tod *********
ORIGINAL POSTER
@Martin *******
click on this link and you will see there is a 90 day online program you can register to use AND you will see an appointment booking choice too (if you are going for an extension etc), along with the TM30 like always)

***********************************************
Tod *********
ORIGINAL POSTER
there is no choice in the online appointment booking to make an appointment to go to an immigration office and file a 90 day report in person.
Ručman ***********
Is this for Bangkok only or outside also can report?
Ručman ***********
Thank you
@Tod ********
but how they will know me?
Tod *********
ORIGINAL POSTER
@Ručman **********
SIGN UP on the link and they will email you a password

Cannot see Nalhon Pathom in system

@Ručman **********
when you sign up to use the 90 day online system it doesn't SHOW an immigration office location. 😕

Make sure you're signing up for the TM47 program NOT the appointment program to go to the office to get an extension

You want the screen for the 90 day reporting to look like this
Ellie *******
it doesn't limit to Bangkok. You can ask your local immigration office or you just try online...
Marty *********
I haven’t been able to file a 90 day report online for a year. Hopefully the news system will change that. I will register are try it out in January.
Martin ********
@Marty ********
hope and pray 🙏🏻🤣
Jay ***********
@Tod ********
. Can you register now for future reporting or just wait until your 90 day report is due ? For instance mine is not due until January 22 Thanks
Tod *********
ORIGINAL POSTER
@Jay **********
register to USE the system now

**************************************************
Jay ***********
@Tod ********
ok thank you I doubt I need appointments for extensions in Pai
Benjamin ******
@Jay **********
I don't believe Pai is listed as one of the immigration offices.
Utah *****
Does that mean e current app: Immigration eServices is replace by e above app?

Can It be use by BOI 90day reporting? Thanks!
Tod *********
ORIGINAL POSTER
@Utah ****
doesn't seem like it's a different app because when you click on the Googe Play or i-Store icons you get sent to the eServices apps

IF it works should work for anyone needing to do a 90 day report as long as you've done ONE 90 day report in person AND as long as you're using the address they have on file for you (via the TM30 and your last extension)
Tod *********
ORIGINAL POSTER
This is the link where you register to use the "new" 90 day online reporting system.
