IF you went to Muang Thong Thani and applied for an extension using the embassy letter or a medical certificate where you got an "under consideration" stamp you can now use the online booking system to make an appointment on the date you are supposed to go back for your extension stamp.
Many people were told when they applied for their extension to book an appointment for when they were scheduled to come back. All I'm doing is stating that NOW you can book appointments.
Here is the link to the booking system;

Yes, I just did this yesterday. My most recent stamp was "Under consideration" and to return on 7 Oct. (On that previous visit - late Sept - they demanded a letter from my embassy, which I had. And I paid the normal B1900). And then yesterday they gave me a "permitted to stay" stamp until Nov 30. At least one other person there told me she had been given the same stamp on the previous occasion (late September) and then also extended until Nov 30
It is a little confusing when you arrive at Counter K now. You don't go inside the concrete car park (where I always expect to see the Smoking man from the X-files_) but you wait under the gazebo thing, but there is no signage and when I went there was only one Thai-speaking staff member telling people to "line up" in the chairs provided.
Yesterday I waited about 1hr 20 mins before being moved up into the actual immigration office, and then it took only another 10 mins. No paperwork was required, just the passport. However I did see some people who had to hand in paperwork so I'm assuming it's only no paperwork for those who got the Under Consideration stamp as I did - mentioned above.
I’ve not had this stamp before.. what I wasn’t sure about is whether it means to go from this date and after... or on the exact date.. there hasn’t been much in the way of explanation.. hence the question... thanks
thanks.. and I appreciate all the questions must get annoying... and I do appreciate the help... it was also the new amnesty that had me a touch confused also, cheers
