How does one even get a tourist visa from USA to Thailand?

Thanks in advance

Answer summary

To obtain a tourist visa for Thailand from the USA, you can apply online through the official eVisa website. All visa applications are processed by four Thai consulates located in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and Washington D.C. You will need to upload the required documents online, and once processed, you will receive a PDF file that serves as your visa, eliminating the need to send in your passport or visit the consulate.

interesting when I click on your link it sends me to the same web site I posted. My point is contact the the

Thai embassy that serves your area that you live in and follow the directions. It really is that easy. In the USA.

ALL visas for thailand issued in the US are done thru 4 thai consulates (Chicago, Los Angeles, New York & Washington DC) using the online eVisa website here. You apply online, upload the documents meeting the requirements and they send you a PDF file you print out that is the visa. There is no send in your passport or go to the consulate to get a visa sticker anymore.
