Sophie Dubus Tod, if I an on a ME non B visa with WP do I need to get a re entry permit each time I leave the country? I have to leave maximum every 90 days anyway but from reading your above comment I wonder whether I need to specifically get a re entry permit or whether my leaving and re entering just 'resets' my duration of stay? (Hope this is ok to ask here but will start a new thread if necessary)

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you are on a Multi-Entry Non-B visa, you must obtain a re-entry permit each time you leave Thailand if you wish to return without invalidating your visa. Although you can leave the country every 90 days and re-enter, doing so without a re-entry permit will not 'reset' your duration of stay, and your visa could be rendered void. Therefore, it is important to secure the appropriate re-entry permit before departing.

a multi-entry Non-B visa requires that you leave at least every 90 days, BUT

you can come in and out as much as you want to.

As long as you enter the country before the "enter before" date on the visa itself you will be stamped in for 90 days when you enter.
