Thanks Tod, I was actually planning a visit to Melbourne for a SETV.....I knew about the holiday, just didn't realise it would affect the embassy here. Guess it will be Thursday then.

Hello. I'm leaving tomorrow and was planning on canceling my work permit on the way out. Is this not possible if immigration offices are closed?
Chris ********
Or you won't be allowed to leave? Surely you just lose your extension of stay rights?
Robert *******
If you are inside Thailand on an Extension of Stay from Immigration Office you have to cancel this at the Immigration Office before you leave.
Robert *******
You cancel a Work Permit at the Ministry of Labor, but good news for you, also closed tomorrow.
