I guess we have to apply for the normal one and can extend again, if the situation remains. Not sure

Is it advisable to request the normal 30 day extension or the corona extension first? Any idea?

The "corona virus extension" is an emergency extension for those who are otherwise ineligible for an extension.

Good information.

I've been on hold with the British consulate for an hour and a half so far.

Hopefully I can get this sorted today.

It will be my 2nd extension on this entry. Would that still be OK?

can u please share details? Was it Bangkok? The only thing I’ve seen is the Phuket will extend for long term residents. How about 90 day visa holders? How do we get the letter as there is nothing on their website and I have only gotten automated replies. TIA

they will issue you the letter, BUT as far as if you can get ANYTHING from the immigration office other than the 7 days application denied week to get outta thailand, that is between you and the immigration office you deal with.
