ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS;

APRIL HOLIDAY CLOSURES

# ALL Immigration offices in the country will be closed;

Monday April 8th

Friday April 12th

Monday April 15th

Tuesday April 16th

If you have a stamp that expires on a day the immigration office is closed (weekend or holiday) AND you go the very next business day they're open you can get your extension like normal, not be fined for overstay. You WILL get an overstay stamp in your passport but it will say (overstay xxx days fine waived due to holiday)

BORDERS ARE OPEN LIKE NORMAL

Answer summary

All immigration offices in Thailand will be closed on April 8th, 12th, 15th, and 16th, 2024. Individuals whose visa stamps expire during this period can still receive an extension on the next business day without incurring a fine, although an overstay stamp will be noted in their passport. The last day for visa services before the closure is April 11th, with facilities reopening on April 17th.
