**ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS:

SONGKRAN HOLIDAY CLOSURE**

Today is the last day ALL Immigration offices in thailand are open.

They will close at 4:30PM and not re-open until Monday the 18th.

IF you have a stamp that is expiring on a day the immigration office is closed (weekendz/holidayz)

AND

you go the very next day they're open you can apply for your extension like normal.

You will not be charged for overstay. You will however get an overstay stamp in your passport (it will say overstay fine waived due to holiday)

TLDR : Answer Summary
All Immigration offices in Thailand will close today at 4:30 PM for the Songkran holiday and will not reopen until Monday, April 18th. If your visa stamp expires while the offices are closed, you can apply for an extension the next day without incurring an overstay fine, though it will be noted in your passport as waived due to the holiday. Additionally, there are inquiries about how to handle 90-day reporting if it was missed during the holiday period.

Thank you for the information, Tod.

Any idea for 90 day report, I had to report yesterday 12th but missed?

@Ragas ****
You can do 90days report until 7days after at the local immigration office without paying a fine for not reporting in time. Go on the 18th to report in person.
