As usual, IF you have a stamp that expires on a day the immigration office is closed (weekends or holidays) and you go to the office the very next day they're open you can get your extension without being charged an overstay fine, you will get a stamp in your passport that says "overstay xxx days fine waived due to closure)

In April 2023, all immigration offices in Thailand will be closed on April 6th for Chakri Day and on April 13th, 14th, and 17th for Songkran. Land borders remain open during this time. If a visa stamp expires on a closure day, it can be extended without an overstay fine the next day the office is open, and a note will be placed in the passport indicating that the fine was waived due to the closure.
