ATTENTION MEMBERS:

There was some confusion (or at least I was confused) about the exact wording of the "clause 2.28" 'embassy reques' extension that people are getting due to covid-19 and the embassy letter.

I think the reason people are getting different lengths of extensions IS the actual wording is

**(1) In the case of necessity, each

permission shall be granted for no more than

30 days of stay **<- meaning it can be any number of days as long as it's NOT more than 30 :(

Sorry I mis read the clause in the police order.

And as much as you all like it, NO MORE THAN 30 DAYS, means everything between 1 day and 30 days, there is no need to argue or discuss that your Facebook friend in the other side of Thailand got 1 day more or less.

If you can not manage to leave this country before that date, you have to show up again at Immigration again on 14 April 2020

Good information. Thanks. Therefore one would imagine another letter would be needed if no flights available after the special extension?

I got 26 days because any more would put me over 90 and that would mean having to do the 90 day report I believe...
