IMMIGRATION OFFICE CLOSURES OCTOBER

ALL immigration offices in the country will be closed the following days

Monday Oct 13th

Thursday Oct 23rd

If you have a stamp expiring on a day the immigration office is closed (weekends or holidays) and you go the next day they are open you can get your extension like normal, will not be charged for overstay (you will get an overstay stamp but it will say fine waived).

TLDR : Answer Summary
All immigration offices in Thailand will be closed on Monday, October 13th, and Thursday, October 23rd. If your visa stamp expires on these closure days (or weekends/holidays), you can visit the immigration office the following day for an extension without being charged for an overstay, though you'll receive a stamp indicating that the fine is waived. Points of entry and exit to Thailand will remain open during these holiday closures.

Do you know if the holiday schedule applies to foreign consulates as well?

Always check their website because, as Ellie says, they can differ but you should plan as if they close for Thai holidays as well as holidays in the country where they are based.

, royal thai embassies and consulate-generals have holiday schedule for each. It may vary even in the same country. Check their website or sns for their holiday calendar.
