Can a non-Singaporean spouse obtain a year-long multi-entry Non-O visa from the Thai consulate in Singapore?

As a rule I am loathe to share posts off the Thai Visa Forum (mostly because you have to wade thru so much b/s to get good information)

BUT

here's an interesting post from there about a person who wasn't Singaporean getting a year-long, multi-entry Non-O based on marriage to a thai from the Thai consulate in Singapore.

He did show proof of financials but he did get the visa too!!
