you need to ask that question at the immigration office where you apply for your extension. Some make you take the 30 day extension first but some will let you get the 60 day covid one straight away

What this means is anyone who has a stamp running out between now and May 29th can go to the immigration office and apply for a 60 day covid extension.

The TR60 is the tourist visa. You can not get a tourist visa inside Thailand.

Your TR60 (tourist visa) is a single entry visa. You have to get an extension of stay to stay longer. GENERALLY, most people would get a 30 day extension of stay based on tourism, however the Thai government is also selling a 60 day extension of stay based on COVID-19.

MOST immigration offices will want you to get a 30 day extension of stay based on tourist first.
