Hi. It seems now UK passport holders get a 60 day on arrival visa. If a visitor wishes to stay 62 days is it possible to extend the 60 days or will they need a 60 day tourist to extend? TIA

Hi all, please accept for consideration Admin. If not relevant, feel free to reject my post.

Can a 60 day, visit Thai family extension be exxtended for an additional 30 days, at my local immigration office? Thanks everyone for the advice.

I'm currently on a 60 day visa exempt STAMP which I also want to extend for an additional 30 days at my local immigration office.

Hi sorry not sure if this has been answered!

Under the new 60 day visa exempt entry for tourists, is it still necessary to apply for an METV?

I was planning to use Thailand as a base from August-November, and during that time visit other countries in Asia every 4/5 weeks by AIR. I thought I’d need to get an METV originally, but am I right in assuming the new visa exemption doesn’t require it?

Of course I understand it’ll still depend on the IO.

thanks for any kind advise or suggestions.
