ATTENTION; ALL MEMBERS

# The 60 day covid extension program is continued until March 30th, 2021.

This is NOT amnesty :O You still need to go BUY 60 day covid extensions at the immigration office for 1900baht like you have been before your current stamp expires..

IF your stamp is not expiring today you do NOT need to slog to your immigration office to get a new covid extension.

Keep in mind it is totally up to the individual immigration office on whether you get an under consideration stamp (which means you need to go back to THAT office) or get the 60 day extension on the spot.

This is the notice signed yesterday by the head of thai immigrations (Lieutenant General Sompong Chingduang, also known as 'Big Oud')

TLDR : Answer Summary
The 60-day COVID extension program in Thailand continues until March 30, 2021. This extension is not an amnesty, and individuals must purchase the 60-day extension at an immigration office for 1,900 baht before their current visa stamp expires. If their stamp is not expiring that day, they do not need to rush to the immigration office. The decision to grant an extension on the spot or an under consideration stamp varies by individual immigration offices.

What it is NOT is a place to ask about covid extensions; it is a For Your Information Only post.
