i wondering whether an extension of a one year non-immigrant visa based on supporting a Thai child (mine) is easier or more advantageous re income or money in bank requirement than an extension based on marriage (not the mother)?

16 yrs plus extensions based on retirement but now UK embassy fail to provide income letter...which has fewer hoops to jump through?

I know about marriage requirements but can't find about that based on a dependent child here. Financial the same? Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry revolves around the ease and financial requirements of extending a one-year Non-Immigrant Visa based on supporting a Thai child, compared to extending a visa through marriage. The author seeks clarification on which process has fewer bureaucratic hurdles and if the financial requirements are the same, especially given previous complications with income verification from the UK embassy.
