ATTENTION MEMBERS

ALL Thai Immigration offices country wide will be closed TODAY (Tuesday the 29th) for Visakha Bucha Day

Border crossings are open normal hours

The following Thai consulates in nearby countries are also closed;

Vientiane & Savannakhet Lao

Kuala Lumpur, Penang & Kota Bharu Malaysia

The Thai consulates in Phnom Penh Cambodia, Hanoi & Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam, Seoul South Korea and Yangon Myanmar are OPEN

I went the consulate in Vientiane the day after a holiday and it was a madhouse. I had number 350 and there was still a few hundred behind me

Going to Seoul.. But I don't expect you to know that, nor do I expect you to check every embassy. I was mostly wonder if consulates (all) will be closed. However, know some will be closed I will do my best to be there Friday (first available day). They have a 3 day turn around so no matter what it will extend the delay

Next time i'm in Bangkok , I go visit head of Immigration and even the PM. It is not fair that those hard working Immigration Officers at airports and border crossings don't get the same day of as their colleagues in the office. ๐Ÿ˜ˆ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
