@[Henry St Clair]([members only]) asked in another thread IF the thai consulate in Yangon Myanmar issues year long, multi-entry Non-O visas based on marriage without proof of funds (like the consulates in Savannakhet Lao add Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam).

The answer is NO, the thai consulate in Yangon will only issue a year-long, multi-entry Non-O visa based on marriage to a thai with proof of 400K baht or the equivalent in a bank account.

It is exactly like the thai consulate in Penang in that regard, (Penang also requires proof of funds to get that visa for that reason)
