# TM30 & 90 DAY REPORTING ONLINE

As most people know both the online 90 day reporting and the TM30 online were down from Feb 18 to April 23.

Now both the TM30 and the 90 day online are back up and running but there appears to be "glitches" in them.

For the TM30 web-link, people can enter data but some cannot save it (by clicking the floppy disc in the top right). To try to work around this use the mobile application for iPhone/Android if you can.

For the 90 day reporting using the web-link it appears that people get the error prompt because their current expiration date for their extension has not been updated.

You can check this by using the eServices application for iPhone/Android and logging in. It will show your "status" and if it says you're on 'overstay' it means you cannot use the online system because their database does not have your current extension expiration entered in.

Just a few quick tips about using EITHER web-link;

Turn off pop-up blocker, turn off VPN, turn off auto fill, turn off auto translate, use the calendar tabs to select dates.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM30 and 90-day online reporting systems for foreigners in Thailand are currently experiencing glitches after being restored in April 2021. Users have reported issues such as difficulties saving reports on the TM30 portal and error prompts on the 90-day reporting system due to outdated extension expiration dates. Suggestions include using mobile applications, checking status through the eServices app, and ensuring settings are optimized (like disabling pop-up blockers and VPNs) for better functionality. It's noted that the first 90-day report must be done in person to access the online system for subsequent reports.

i used the app Section 38. Already submitted the notification but I dont know if I should receive any receipt via email ? Do you have any idea?
Ellie *******
you will get an email only when you register a user account. When you submit the TM30 report and if you want to check, go back to the app and use the Search function. Your record would come up if saved correctly. Then view the detail (xx person >>) it's the screen you want to save/print out as a proof/receipt.
Tracy *****
Just logged in, only the 90 day reporting function came up, no option for tm30.
Tracy *****
Tod Daniels cool. Thanks. Must have uninstalled that one.

Tracy Ann nope, one is called eServices (Thats the app you have) and the other one is called Section 28 (that's the TM30 ap)
Tracy *****
That's all I'm getting.
Tracy *****
Benjamin Hays yes but aren't they in the same app? I'm sure I used this same app for it before it went offline.
Jade *******
If I missed my last report and now owe them 2000thb, can I still do it online and pay online?
Tod *********

@Jade ***********
nope you go in person

You can also download a separate browser just for 90 day, don't add ANY extensions, and clear the cache and cookies prior to going to the immigration website.

Had a few friends that this cleared up their issues.
Billy *********
Sadly no luck for me.

It’s has never worked for me. This was the 1st time in years I was able to get pass the 1st step and register and confirm my email.

So at least some progress lol. I will try it on the website and see can I get through.

Normally I go in person.
Billy *********
I just tried again all them are saying the same thing as before.

So frustrating I have been here for years and for years the exact same resorting me having go all the away to immigration.

@Benjamin *****
Tried and it didn't work either. Just went to a blank screen. Normally it would just bring up: For further information please contact blah blah tab. At least it went to a another page. It's just blank

I was shocked to see my statues as 30 days overstayed. So do you know if it is okay to go 90 days notification place or do they ask me to go back to Chaengwattana 😭
Richard *******
I successfully used the website yesterday.. with glitches, but it has eventually worked.
Harry ********
I have tried registering many times, but I hit a hurdle with the TM6 details. It comes up with an 'alert TM6 no. is incorrect', despite the correct details being entered.

Any suggestions?

@Ha***
, you must be trying to FILE an online 90 day report because you don't put any of that info in when you sign up to USE the app.

Make sure you're entering 2 letters and 5 numbers for the TM6 card number. When did you last enter the country?
Tod *********

@Jibran *******
you can't see ANY 90 day reports that were done in person or by mail on the 90 day online system, It only tracks ones you did ONLINE with the web-site or the mobile app

my status shows Normal but I can’t see the latest entry of 90days which i done in person while online system wasn’t working. Will it be a problem when i will apply probably in june for next 90days? Because the I can’t see my in person entry in appointments.
Tod *********
ORIGINAL POSTER
@Harry *******
you are talking about the TM30 online right? there is no register for a 90 day reporting
Tod *********
ORIGINAL POSTER
The way to check to see IF you can or can't use the online 90 day reporting <- (IF you've done one report in person already) is

Open the eServices app, log in and you should get a small screen blocking the app choices that says your passport number, your current extension expiration date AND your status.

IF it shows your old extension date and you have a status of xxx days overstay you can't use the online app or webpage.

As far as I know this is the only way to see if your data is correct in the system as far as your current extension. There is no way to check it on the web-link
Tod *********
ORIGINAL POSTER
okay figured it out.. You have to have filed a 90 day report ONLINE before (and had it approved or declined) to get IN their system so it shows your 'status'.

For people who are asking for the websites/mobile apps, I suggest you READ the 2 top replies to this thread.

I posted both the TM30 and the 90 day reporting ones

Todd thanks for the info. We are only new to all this and have done our first 90 report. Is the application on Android just called eservices?

Immigration eServices (you can put "immigration thailand" in searcher)

I tried eServices application for the first time. I changed my passport last year, already did marriange 1-year extension and 90-days notification (in person, online and by registered mail) with the new passport, but the application still shows my old passport number...

@Tod ********
Well, I might get just lucky :) However, since passport change I did it twice in person, then online, then registered mail. Will see in June if I can do it online again. I will remember to let you know :) (and yes, I have old TM6 from January 2020, with old passport number in it).
Tod *********
ORIGINAL POSTER
Hmm, Well,
@Krzy*****
I've never seen an online 90 day go thru with a new passport that you got INSIDE thailand without exiting and re-entering the country to get a new TM6 number matched to that passport number.
Krzysztof *********
Tod *********
ORIGINAL POSTER
@Krzysztof ********
and you successfully did an online 90 day report AFTER changing your passport inside thailand and without leaving the country?
Krzysztof *********
@Tod ********
But I did it online :) Have new passport since June 2020, did the stamp transfer and 90-days notification in-person then (CW), in September another in-person 90-days. in December 1-year extension and online 90-days. In March I did 90-days by registered mail. And we will see in June :) And didn't leave Thailand since January 2020
Tod *********

@Krzysztof ********
right and until you exit and re-enter the country on your new passport to get a new TM6 arrival/departure card number you will not be able to use the online system for 90 day reporting.
Mike *******
Thanks for the info as usual!!! I tried to do my 90 day online yesterday with no success.

No, to Samui Immi office ...
Tod *********

@Bhakta *****************
and you mailed it to the Surat Thani Immigration office?
Tod *********
ORIGINAL POSTER
@Bha***
you CALL your immigration office before you try to mail it in and see IF you can apply for it by post or not.
Bhakta **********
How do I find out if it did or did not work by postal service? Our problem is that we’re in Phangan and have to go to the Immi office in Samui which right now with COVID is not really recommended. They are working on an Immi office in Phangan for a while now, but we still don’t know when it might open ...
Bhakta **********
I’ve tried it exactly 15 days before, as indicated. When this didn’t work I’ve sent it off by postal mail, that’s why I’m a bit worried that it won’t work since they they “at least” 15 days before by postal service.
Tod *********
ORIGINAL POSTER
As
@El***
said I too think you were trying WAY too early online
@Bha***
,

The window to TRY to file online is from 15 days before (actually 2 weeks exactly) down until the due date
Ellie *******
@Bhakta *****************
If it's in the window of postal application, you tried online too early...
Bhakta **********
@Tod ********
no, I couldn’t, it told me to go to the Immi office. I’ve now sent off everything by postal service. Hope they‘ll accept it, sent it off exactly 15 days before due date ...
Tod *********

@Bha***
and did you file a 90 day report online and get it to go to PENDING status?

All you can do is check to see if reports that were filed online are approved or denied
Ray *********
It's working. Successfully completed online report this morning. Immediately approved.
Billy ************
I successfully filed my 90 report using Chrome. No issues
Tod *********
ORIGINAL POSTER
One more thing. IF you use the 90 day online (mobile or web-link) and your report is approved. You need to go back in the system using the check status tab, access the approved report and select the NEXT APPOINTMENT choice for printing. <- That's the receipt you print and keep in your passport which has the next report date on it (just like the paper that immigration gives you when you report in person)
Tod *********
ORIGINAL POSTER
To get this

(note it says you reported via the internet)
Tod *********
ORIGINAL POSTER
you need to PRINT this choice

Thank you!

Hello, I would like to ask if any of you happen that the app on Android does not work under the ADSL network but only under the 4G network

@Tod ********
I don't use a vpn service, this thing happens to me often. it could be some setting on the ADSL modem router that the landlord uses

@Fa***
shouldn't make a difference as long as you're not using a VPN and you're in thailand.
Wanwisa ***********
Many members have mentioned that you have to go in person for the first 90 day report - is this true?
Wanwisa ***********
@Tod ********
thanks so much for the clarification! I like the by-mail option - we are about a month out so I’ve got some time.
Tod *********
ORIGINAL POSTER
Correct
@Wan****
:O To get into the 90 day online data base system so you can file online you need to do ONE 90 day report in person (or send someone for you or do it by mail).

LISTEN UP: This is NOT going to turn into a bitching, pissing and moaning thread about all that is wrong thai immigrations.

This is thailand, things are what they are and bitching about it isn't gonna make it any different.

I wrote this to share the information I have found helpful.

Keep it civil, don't slag off immigrations, and keep on topic or I'll close it. :) :P :O

I don't mind just dropping in it takes 5 mins no big deal

In the two years that it was suppose to be working it HAS not, now we are told it's up and it's not working correctly.

That’s not working, if it doesn’t work!

If the Visa applicants did as bad a job we would hear about Fines฿

So as the honored Immgration staff tells us try the online app. Oh that right it doesn’t work.

We will try to fix it, give us more time,mean while you will have to ......until we can figure it out.

Sorry for the inconvenience, just thinking out loud.

Just think if we had a real program that worked correctly, like banks,large companies, stock market,or just

I understand your frustration
@Jac****
BUT the online 90 day reporting has been active since 2015 :O

I personally have had hundreds of 90 day reports online for people go thru and get approved during that time.

True the system is not without it's hiccups BUT it does work and it has worked.

AND

The online web-link for TM30 has been active for years and years and years because that's what hotels used to report people staying there LONG before they started letting foreigners use the system.

as always very informative thx
