How about you don't hijack threads that have nothing to do with the location where you're going for your extension?

Many thanks for sharing your experience, would you help to confirm the required documents? Photo + passport copy?

In Bangkok, in which immigration bureau shall I go? Many thanks 😊

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post seeks clarification on which immigration bureau to visit in Bangkok for a visa extension and the required documents. Respondents provide information that the specific immigration office to go to (Muang Thong Thani or Chaengwattana) depends on the type of visa the individual currently holds or had before the COVID extensions.

Here's how it works in Bangkok

IF you showed up here without having bought a visa from a thai consulate before you came and were stamped in for free you go to the Muang Thong Thani Immigration office Counter K

IF you showed up here WITH a tourist visa and were stamped in for 60 days when you arrived you go to Chaengwattana Section J

and on the rare chance you entered on a 15 day visa on arrival OR had any non-immgrant type visa/extension since you've been here you can't get a covid extension at all 🙁

To tell you what immigration office you're supposed to go to in Bangkok, Muang Thong Thani OR Chaengwattana we need to know what visa/extension/entry stamp you are on now or were on BEFORE you went on covid extensions?

. nope no recommendations on any other visa, you can get ONE 30 day extension and possibly the 60 day covid extension before March 25th, then you're done.

there is no 30 day tourist visa 🙁

I think what you're saying is you didn't BUY any visa before you showed up and when you got here you were stamped in for FREE for 30 days <- that is called a visa exempt entry

You can't get the 60 day covid extension on that until you already took the regular 30 day extension FIRST.

IN Bangkok on a visa exempt entry you go to MTT immigration office for your extensions
