No immigration office in Thailand can process an in-country conversion from an O-A visa to an O visa. To transition from an O-A to an O visa, one must leave the country to break the chain of the O-A visa, enter on a 30-day visa exempt entry, and then apply for a new 90-day Non-O visa at the immigration office.
