**ATTENTION MEMBERS:

Automatic extensions until April 30th

**

Everything we know about the automatic extensions until the 30th of the month is in that closed thread.

Asking the same question "does this pertain to me" over and over will not make the answer appear.

We know as much as you do. Read the notices that I posted in that thread.

Now, because we don't know exactly how it really is going to work any better than you do, rather than have bad info up (that gets shared around more than good info) we're just not gonna let any posts about it up on the group for now. :(

There are plenty of thai related f/b pages where you can post your questions and get plenty of responses, but alas this group is not one of them :/

Sincerely, good luck to everyone (y)

TLDR : Answer Summary
This post addresses the automatic visa extensions implemented by Thai authorities until April 30, 2020, which affects many foreigners. The author emphasizes that members should read the existing information before asking repetitive questions about their specific situations, as details are already covered in a closed thread. Various comments discuss concerns about ongoing visa statuses, overstay penalties, and travel restrictions during the extension period.

Looks like people on their last extension of ED visa are in the Limbo right now.

Can’t leave, and can’t get an extension either...

Does the amnesty extension still require a visit to an immigration office or do we just stay at home??

it would appear (seeing as this is just the first day) that you do NOTHING at all but stay at home and at some point in the future you will get an extension stamp for free until the 30th of April

Okay

posted in another thread which I deleted that his foreign g/f has been on an overstay since her entry stamp expired on March 22 .

Now I don't why they didn't get an extension BEFORE that stamp expired BUT I found out that she will be obligated to pay overstay from the 22 <- the day her stamp expired up until the 26th when the date they retroactively allowed people to get free extensions from.

So at some point she will owe 4 days overstay at 500 a day, BUT she does also get a free auto-extension until the 30th of April too.

Sorry to have deleted your other post, but at least I found out the correct answer for her/your conundrum..

Good Luck, stay safe

Hi sorry if im repeating a question asked elsewhere, because I cant see anyone else asking after reading the thread.

But does this apply to people already on a first extension of stay on VISA exempt entry? As I am due to go in tomorrow to with covid letter to get another extension.

Am I now automatically extended until 30th April?

and how about stating WHERE you're applying for the extension, for what reason, and when your entry stamp expired?

What happens with folks who have "under consideration" stamps? Technically they do not have a permission to stay until the consideration is converted to a permitted stamp. Right?
