The '60' on your visa stamp indicates that you have a 60-day visa exemption. This is the duration you are permitted to stay in Thailand without a visa, commonly applicable to travelers from certain countries. Discussions in the comments also cover nuances about the stamp's meaning, potential for extensions, and the importance of understanding visa-related details before traveling.
It means you can stay 60 days in Thailand and extend another 30 days in any immigration office!

It clearly means you arrived April 1 and you need to leave by no later than May 30 🙄 60 day visitor visa otherwise you’ll get a black mark as an overstay + a fine.

I see a lot of asshole answers and several commented that the poster should do their own research. But, then what is the point of having a group called “Thailand Visa Advice?” It would be easier if a single authentic person answered the question and then all you clever bores went back to pounding your puds. It is sad when these groups turn into just a way to troll unsuspecting newbies.
its so simple that it should be basic knowledge.. isnt the first thing you do before you go to another country looking up the visa requirements and on which visa you will be traveling/entering the country??

If you read about the country you will know that they have been offering this on arrival for the last 7 months
“ผ.60” refers to “แบบฟอร์ม ผ.60” (Form Phor.60), a Thai Immigration document typically used for 60-day tourist visa entries, which can be extended for another 30 days.
“ผ.” stands for “ฝ่ายตรวจคนเข้าเมือง” (Immigration Division) ☺️
this is a wrong explanation. The stamp ผ.60 means that you entered visa-exempt. If you had entered on a 60-days Tourist Visa, the stamp would say "TR" or sometimes "TR60"
What numbers result in the quotient to be equal to 0 ?

I there a question, is easier for farang to try to get papers for girlfriend to come to England,,,,, or for Thai girlfriend who has never left her country??
there’s nothing wrong with you asking this question. I know people are joking here (and I do happen to think the joke has a lot of wit), but the fact of the matter is that occasionally, countries add last minute little weird rules to their visa entry requirements. sometimes, they put a small code within the immigration stamp to signify that as of that days, stamp your subject to those new rules. The immigration agents don’t necessarily explain it to the tourist. Then the countries immigration officers hold you accountable. If you don’t understand every mark within an immigration stamp, you should ask specifically what everything means. You were right to ask this question. Ignorance is not a defense with immigration violations.
oh yes, I just realised now. Means I do not have to stress now with any visa and just go. Well body still far away from retirement but seems like brain already pass. Thanks

I called the Thai embassy in London and they told me that i have to apply for visa if I want 60 days in Thailand
there are many of those types of people here in Thailand who love beating their chest… putting people down by pretending to know everything which I believe it to be a form of ‘bullying’.
When you meet these so-called scum/bullies, it doesn’t take long to realise they often know shit and lie about things to make themselves look better and feel better… personally I have not been able to even finish a small beer when they show their true colours 🙆🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️ would rather drink alone than listen to their dribble
theres a difference between knowing everything and at least knowing the basics before you go to another country let alone continent.. would you go to another country without looking up what paperwork, visa and laws you have to follow??
Either they made a mistake in October last year or this year in April, or you did get 60 days both times. The visa exempt permission of stay was already 60 days in October last year.
What's your nationality? If you're from the Czech Republic, you should have gotten 60 days in October last year too.
If you’re from one of the 93 nations entitled to visa exemption you’ll will as a general rule receive a 60 days free stamp upon arrival as you did last month until the day the immigration officer you’re standing in front of no longer consider you as a genuine tourist to Thailand.
this is a visa 60 days exemption. 1st april is your arrival in Thaïland and 30 may is the latest day you have to quit Thaïland or you can ask for an 30 more days visa at the immigration office and it cost 1900 bahts
