Okay, seeing as that topic posted by Nilton, ran wild (in my opinion) I deleted it. :O 

Nilton, once you get the real story as far as what visa she had, how long it was good form, when she entered the country, if she exited and re-entered the country without a re-entry permit etc feel free to make a new post. 

I will caution members of this group to stay on topic and not turn these threads into a pissing or slagging match. This is a group to exchange information about visas and extensions to thailand, not to debate the pros and cons of living here.

I am sorry if it seems I'm being heavy handed. :/

I thank you too. I missed what you deleted but have been really disheartened by the ridiculing & rudeness on many of the sites. Fun is fun, but a lot of what I have read is downright rudeness & ignorance to responses of people who genuinely require an answer, no matter how dumb or naive the question is to many.

Alas, it appears we are never to know the real story. It's comin' to the O/P from another friend of the person who was denied.

There is just too much missing information for me to believe all of it.

I am not saying it didn't happen, I'm saying that the story as it exists no is not gonna make it onto the group because it's gonna do nothing but cause a shit-storm :O

, i don't know how much I helped you because no matter what the actual rule is if the officer stamping you into the country wants to see 20K baht to stamp you in on a 30 day visa exempt, you either show her or you don't get stamped in. :/

And tod helped me :) instead of 20k thb i ATM now 10k was big time help as i was misinformed! Have to get it 2 times for my partner 40k difficult in 2 days via ATM
