ATTENTION Members on O-A visas OR extensions from them.

At this time we do not have enough information to tell you whether you're going to be asked to show insurance or not when you re-enter thailand.

Until we do, either STOP asking questions about it OR if you do ask, don't get butt hurt when we close your thread down.

That's just how it is gonna be for the time being.

Sorry, but we're not in the business for speculation or conjecture and until hard evidence comes in about what they're gonna be doing, these topics will be closed..

It may be pointless to speculate, but if they start asking for insurance papers at borders I’ll eat a hubcap for breakfast. They’re gonna leave that shit to embassies & immigration offices. 😎

your intial statement was correct. IT IS pointless to speculate.

Let's wait until we get some more feedback of people on O-A's or extensions entering the country.

Sounds good, should be done with repetitive questions about TM30 and 90 day reporting to.

Certainly was not asked at Phuket Airport on 1st when re-entering in OA extension.

Sounds good to me. As far as I can see immigration themselves can't answer that question at the moment.
