Are all Immigration offices closed on Friday April 6th, and will they reopen Monday after Songkran?

Is this through songkran or will the offices reopen Monday?

Yes he should get 30 days, no reason why not.

I know not relevant to this post but thought you would be the guy to ask. My Aussie friend is over on a 30 day exemption. He has been advised that immigration will only now extend this by 7 days. I told him am sure that is incorrect and that he can extend by another 30 days. This is his first visit in over 18 months. Can you confirm which is correct. Thank you.
