TLDR : Answer Summary
The question is about changing from a Non-B visa to a Non-O visa in Thailand due to marriage. It has been clarified that if the individual is currently on a yearly extension of stay related to employment, they may change their extension to one based on marriage without leaving the country. They should visit the immigration office for documentation requirements and apply for the new extension before their current one expires.

Okay, now that we sussed out you are on an extension of stay and NOT a visa the answer to your question IS
Yes you can change the reason for your extension from one based on employment to one based on marriage without leaving the country.
GO to your immigration office and get the hand out that lists the documentation requirements to get a yearly extension of stay based on marriage to a thai national.
When you have 30 days or less left on your current extension based on employment you will go to the immigration office and apply for a new yearly extension based on marriage to a thai.
You're NOT changing any VISA (because you're NOT here ON a visa, you're here on an extension). You're only changing the reason from one based on employment to one based on marriage to a thai.
you are the third person who did that employment to marriage extension reason change in Bangkok who has said they were required to go cancel the extension based on employment FIRST before they could apply for the extension based on marriage..

Let's try this once more, look at the most recent stamp you got from the immigration office in your passport
IF it says, "EXTENSION OF STAY PERMITTED UNTIL..." you do NOT have a visa :O You have an extension of stay...

Okay, FIRST off you need to state whether you're on a Non-B visa where you bounce out and back in to the country every 90 days OR if you're on a yearly extension of stay based on employment.
Those are two entirely different scenarios and handled totally different.
