There are reports today that people are being turned back on their extension application because they have the wrong version of the TM7 application for extension printed.
Immigrations changed that form a GOOD while ago, the old one used to have the price of the extension, the new one doesn't. The old one was a word document (dot doc) the new one is only available as PDF.
The correct form for application for extension is on the main immigration website (immigration.go.th) and the bangkok immigration website (bangkok.immigration.go.th) too
Here's the tiny URL link to the correct PDF of the TM7
[members only]
You want to print it on one piece of paper front to back & as always if you fill it out in ink you want to use BLUE ink not black
Obviously the X'd out image is the WRONG form :P

TLDR : Answer Summary
Members are reminded to use the correct TM7 form when applying for visa extensions in Thailand, as outdated forms are being rejected. The updated TM7 form is available as a PDF on the official immigration websites. It's important to print the form on one page front and back, using blue ink. Comments indicate that some areas, like Phuket, may require additional forms (STM2 and STM9) for extensions. The TM7 form was updated during the pandemic, affecting processing and fees.
I take your word as gospel Tod. Iβve never asked a question on TVA, but read with interest & dismiss most of what I read. Keep up the good work. Cheers π»
