Hi, I am a British citizen and my marriage visa expired 2 August. Foolishly I forgot to put the 400k in my account for seasoning.

What are my options now, what Visa can I get to allow for the money to season in my account,

thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
A British citizen whose marriage visa expired on August 2nd is seeking advice on visa options after failing to maintain the required bank balance for seasoning funds. The community suggests that a 60-day family visit visa may be available, allowing for funds to season in the account. It's advised to visit the immigration office for application and that such extensions may not require having children as a prerequisite. Users discuss personal experiences and provide logistical advice for visiting immigration to obtain the necessary extensions.

I'm at Samui immigration today. Waiting for my passport back. The 60 day visa stamp starts from today not 27th. I asked why this was the case and I just got a blank look. I'll ask again later when their not so busy and after I got my 60 day stamp

Kaveh Jamali if you entered on a 30 day visa exempt OR a 60 day tourist visa yes you use Muang Thong Thani for the 60 day visit family extension.

Kaveh Jamali the fastest way to get to C/W is to take the sky train to the last stop Wat Phra Si Mahathat and then go out exit 1 to the taxi/moto stand and tell them government complex. It's about 5 km from that sky train stop

the 60 day stamp starts from the day AFTER amnesty ends (so that means it starts on Sept 27 and runs until Nov 25)

Mention it to them NOW
@Ni***
, not later..

was that 60 day visa based on marriage?

@Kaveh *******
, it is a 60 day visit thai family extension and is issued based on marriage to a thai or based on having half thai children. I went over that already. :)

You can get 60 days visiting family and....go very early in the morning if you are in Rayong. I went afternoon they just told me to come back, but last Friday in the morning took only 10 min. ๐Ÿ˜… good luck

the 60 day visit thai family extension is issued based on marriage to a thai OR because you have half thai children.

You just need that 60 days to get your money seasoned. GO to your immigration office with your thai wife and see if you can apply for it.

That's a little more than a "foolish" mistake your extension expired over a MONTH ago :O that's a down right major f*ck up :/

Luckily you've been on amnesty ever since the 2nd of Aug.

About all you could do is go to the immigration office and see if you can get a 60 day visit thai family extension which would start when this amnesty ends and hopefully buy you the 2 months you need to season your money.

You need that 400K baht in the account so IF you get that 60 day visit thai family extension it can season the 2 months and then you can apply for the year extension

, I approved then deleted your original post because you mentioned talking to agencies or visa companies. There is a ZERO tolerance mentioning them AT ALL (even in passing like you did).
