You now require a medical certificate to turn in your visa application there.

You must get the certificate IN thailand.

There are a whole bunch of people there who queued up and then were told this.

So far EVERYONE has been turned away applying for a visa at the thai consulate in Savannakhet.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Thai Consulate in Savannakhet now requires applicants to present a medical certificate obtained in Thailand for their visa applications. This new requirement has caused inconvenience for many, as all individuals who queued for their visas were turned away without the necessary documentation. The specific details about what the medical certificate should include are still unclear, with discussions ongoing regarding whether it should be a COVID-19 specific certificate or a general health certificate.

I asked them(thai embassy at Savannakhet) on their facebook page today and they said the health certificate has to write on letter with confirm that you are “fit-to-travel”. It can be in Thai or English. Should be within 48 hours.

I'd be asking for a copy of the required certificate before going to a hospital.

Fair chance the hospitals know nothing about it

When you say medical certificate, you mean tested for and cleared of the COVID-19 virus, right? Thank you. (And thanks for the add to the group).
