US Consulate Affidavit of Income Notary Letter changed.

Just a heads up, they recently changed the wording on the letter.

A friend was at the US consulate today to get the notary stamp on the income letter and was told there is a new one.

He was also told Immigration's will accept the old letter (and will find out if that's true next Wednesday ;) )

So for people who have the old one on their computer, go to the ACS website and download the new one

The new letter has this wording at the bottom;

The U.S. Embassy does not guarantee the contents of my own sworn statement. Under penalty of perjury, I assume full and complete responsibility for the veracity of the claims herein.

Here's the link to it;

TLDR : Answer Summary
A recent update on the US Consulate's Affidavit of Income Notary Letter has been noted, where the wording of the letter has changed. Individuals seeking notarization at the consulate have been informed about a new version of the letter. However, the old letter might still be accepted by Thai Immigration authorities. For those who have the old document, it's advisable to download the updated version from the ACS website, as it now includes important wording regarding the responsibility for the accuracy of the claims made.

When I used it earlier this year it was different from the one used in 2016

The letter that I used for 3 times always had the Bkk immigration office address. Krabi Immigration never blinks an eye at that and just accepts it
