TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the options for renewing a visa exemption for staying in Thailand. A respondent advises that one can either border bounce to Laos (requiring a visa if needed) or fly to a neighboring country without a visa and return to Thailand for another 30-day exempt entry. Additionally, it is noted that border bouncing uses one of the two permitted visa exemptions by land each year, and there can be requirements for proof of funds upon re-entry. A further inquiry about applying for a non-immigrant visa based on marriage leads to a suggestion that it can be done at Thai consulates in neighboring countries.
would i beable to apply for non imigrant visa while in the country based on marriage?

You could go to the thai consulates in either Savannakhet Lao or Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam and apply for a year-long, multi-entry Non-O visa based on marriage to a thai.
Neither of those consulates require proof of financials to get that visa.
You'd have to exit/re-enter the country every 90 days on that visa but it'd let you stay here for close to 15 months
, just one more thing. If you're gonna fly out and back and you have an extensive history of living here on back-2-back visa exempt or tourist visa entries, make sure you have the 20K baht in cash they can ask for at the airport when you stamp in. It's unlikely you would be asked but you can be..
