that is going to require a trip to the immigration office to get the hand out and see what documents that specific office requires for a "trailing spouse" extension.Ellie *******

, there is no difference between gender for an extension based on being a trailing spouse to a foreigner who is staying in Thailand legally (retirement).Mainly, proof of relationship to the primary person, and other general extension documents.
