I will post this 

We know no more about it than what is written here.

We do NOT know if this will affect the ability of current STV holders to get their 90 day extensions after the 30th of the month or not. If you are already in thailand on an STV, do NOT ask if you can extend it after the 30th of Sept.:O We do not know (and immigration offices seem to not know what's what yet either)   

ALL we can do is wait for more information on how it will work

I did want people to know that this happened but anyone on an STV entry/extension there is no news on what will happen after the 30th

Oh, here's the e-visa website that started on Monday with the new "sticker-less visas"

EVERYONE in the US has to use it and it's live for other countries too, check to see if you can use it where you are when you go to apply for a visa to thailand it will tell you when you work thru the "can I use this site or not" thing

Okay, people the STV (Special Tourist Visa) IS a choice on the new "E-Visa" paperless visa for thailand online system (for the countries that can use it)

It's TOUGH to find where it is BUT if you select the choice "Duration Of Stay No Longer Than 90 Days" it gives you the STV as the only choice.

Anyway, just wanted people to know it's back as an option on the e visa website already
