So first you tell "Ï've tried" than it becomes you have different info from friends to end with you have this info straight from the Immigration.

As you switch every time to make a point, I would say share this direct information from Immigration, the Police Order as that is the only correct way.

Not I have tried, i hear from friends or I talked with the cleaner of the office and now I tell you the law changed.

You could opt to apply first for the 60 day Extension of Stay based on visiting Thai Family to get more time, if you office agree.

At entry into Thailand during the visa validity you get a 365 days of Admitted to stay OR until the last day of your health insurance, which ever comes first.

So be aware that you have at least a 1 year valid insurance if you want to re-enter Thailand during the visa validity.

At arriving at an address you need to report that stay at that address at the local Immigration Office, your hotel or land lord may do this but discuss this with them.

IF you stay 90 days consecutive inside Thailand you need to report this at your local Immigration Office.

Immigration is so nice for you.

You can report by old fashioned mail, using the post office, 15 days before due date.

You can report in person between 15 days before until 7 days after due date.

You can report on line between 15 days before until due date.

No need to wait until the last minute and panic because the door is closed.

No, as in every country, police officers are allowed to make a decision. This decision can be made based on amount of applications, usage of time, distance to people to visit and many other factors.

That YOU did not get visited does not mean that it does not happen in your area, or that that part of the law is not valid in your area.

Most of the time, during the Under Consideration period is a house visit.

All your documents are in order as your application is accepted, it can go wrong if during the house visit the conclusion is that you are living alone, there is no wife and the marriage is not de jure and de facto.

If you are living together with your wife, than it will all go smoothly and no problems.

TWICE a year, first visit it to apply for the 1 year Extension of Stay, which goes 30 days under consideration. You visit again to get the remaining 11 months stamped in your passport.

IF you refer to the 90 day reports, only ONCE, after that you can do it faster than asking this question on Facebook,
