TLDR : Answer Summary
Eddy Lee, a Singaporean, is inquiring about the necessary documentation for his visa extension since he is staying at his girlfriend's house instead of a rented accommodation. Responses from the community suggest various approaches, including providing a Notification of Address along with her ID and house book, while others recommend not providing any information at all. Some users propose writing down a random hostel address to simplify the process.

When I used to do those things- I dont think I had to show anything. I just had to fill in the form. Always I used some random address .. Like I want guests banging on my door at 2:00am

that's cool man again you just proved my point not registering within in the time provided there is a fine per day why are you arguing with me I was there on Friday so I don't understand how you think I'm wrong
You do not know me, so please do not get personal. If there is a fine it means you did something against the rules and regulations. As I said it is your decision to follow them or not. If I read another personal attack I will use the exit button for you. Thank you and enjoy your time in Thailand.
Trevor ******
Umm your an idiot no-one files that unless there here for long long time no need to register if your planning on moving around don't worry bout it your not even that educated because there is a fine buds I called so tell me again I'm wrong this not reporting is my opinion waste of time for under a month not breaking the rules when they don't inforce it your kinda a bit dumb bud

We are here to advice on Thai Visa and the rules and regulations to stay within the law in Thailand. If you feel like this advice is not for you and you better of by not following the rules as the Thai say: Up to You, I have no problems with that. But do not tell others to break the rules, mayby they don't feel comfortable by living that way.
Trevor ******
True but I've never done this I don't think anyone does unless you here on a long stay visa like a year or something for me I'm constantly moving around so doesn't work for me

Why use a passport and Visa? Something to do with respect to your host, after all you want to be guest in this country.
Trevor ******
Like I said though why register

Trevor Mead 500 Thb a day is when you overstay your Visa. To register your address the time set by law is within 24 hours after arriving, not before 48hrs or 24hrs or something. The fines given for or late reporting or no reporting are mostly 1.600 Thb.
Trevor ******
It aint bullshit there bud its right at immigration on a computer screen 500baht a day per day if you don't register before 48hrs or 24hrs or something when arriving into the country I believe so tell me again I'm spewing shit cause bud you are very wrong Steve Greir

If you don't file on time

And that is most likely the reason that more Immigration Offices are enforcing the address registration, Just write down something is in several places not working anymore.

Trevor Mead Since when was it 500bt a day if you register your address late? You're the one spouting the "bull shut"

If you stay at your girl friends house you show the Notification of Address, copy her id card front and back singed by her, copy her blue house book signed by her.
